So I just installed something via .deb file. I've used it before so I think the installation probably created the necesary .desktop files in the directory where such files are scanned by the HUD... If not, I'm sure I can fix that.
What bothers me though is that I should be able to trigger a re-scan of the directory from the HUD itself. I suspect this wouldn't even require a script, just a .desktop file. ...Why isn't it there already?
