I'm not sure exactly where to post about this issue...

anyways...
this is my first occurrence that didn't loop for every key I typed:
in skype:
^I did not use Backspace on the first sentence, and of course, did not intentionally type that.
the last time this happened, any key I pressed was replaced, so I would be typing something like this:
typed on captire event: random |text typ|ed here
typed after capture event: here is what I typed
result as you type: text typtext typtext
the result appears as you type, and of course is posted on Enter.
the capture event starts while your RAM is topped and your compy is slow.
once your compy is back up to speed, you're stuck with the loop until you restart skype.
