Hello all,
I've been usuing Ubuntu 14.10 32-bit on an antinue Dell Latitude D810 (circa 2008 I believe), and most of the time it is great. Unfortunately I can't make the screen bright enough, it is just slightly too dim for comfort, even with the brightness control in the settings moved all the way to the right. I've also tried adjusting the settings in "dconf-editor" with no effect. Is there anyway I can increase the actual brightness going to the screen? Is this a hardware problem?
Display: WUXGA
Graphics: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV380
Thanks for the help?
