LTSP can't run games or steam(glxChooseVisual failed) topic

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04. I am using Gnome on the clients and Unity on the server. Both steam and minecraft work fine on the server. Neither works on the client. Steam throws "glxChooseVisual failed" and Minecraft outputs a very long error message, and says something about the screen.
