So, I just fully switched to Ubuntu (as apposed to having it only installed on my EHD) and I'm cruizing the web for some games.
Not all too many that look good, but there are some gems out there.
I tumbled upon this arena fps called OpenArena based on a branch of Quake and all.
What intrigued me the most is that it looked like there are costum-made character models in-game from the players.
Being able to effectively model something in Blender 3D this intrigued me a lot.
But was instantly dissappointed to find out that it only officially supports first-person views and only third person
as a cheat and without riticle.
If I make a character I want to see that character. And in general I preferre over-the-shoulder Mass Effect shooting
over fps any day.
So I'm asking, is there any third-person game out there that is arena or multiplayer that supports player created models?
