0 down vote favorite I'm using ubuntu 14.04 and I have a problem running my PC in recovery mode. I can get to the recovery mode screen in the grub menu but when I try to navigate through the options using up or down, I get this black screen with weird text in the middle of my screen so I simply can't navigate through the options. I posted my problem to Ask Ubnuntu and ubuntu IRC chanel but got no answer !
