FYI, here is the status of this TV Tuner card from Hauppauge.
First of all, even if you order a 2250, they are now shipping the boxes with 2255's inside.
There is no public driver for the 2255 as of this posting.
However, Hauppauge has a beta driver if you bug them, and are wiling to sign a NDA. The driver is reportedly not just ready to install. Supposedly, it requires some advanced Linux skills to compile it.
Steven Toth told me it should be weeks (not months) before he releases a public driver for the 2255.
