Trying to get Eridol UA-25 to talk to FCB1010 controller for SooperLooper topic

OK just putting it out there. Who can help me get my Berringer FCB 1010 midi controller to communicate with my Eridol UA-25 USB Sound Card so that I can control Sooperlooper on Ubuntu Studio 14.04 LTS, really has been difficult to get it to work. I tried changing the hardware interface to the soundcard in qJackctl settings but that did nothing. Also installed MidiSnooper to see if I was getting anything but no dice. What would it take to make this work? TIA

[SOLVED] Use Xbox 360 Controller as Mouse using AntiMicro topic

I'm posting this for the sake of anyone else goingling how to use a the 3609 controller (or any controller or joystick) as a mouse in Ubuntu, and in reply to many old threads that never got answered.

Antimicro works much like Xpadder in Windows. It's available through a PPA. (For intructions on installing for a PPA, check out this article on How to Geek under the heading Personal Package Archives (PPAs). Here's the Antimicro's website: https://github.com/Ryochan7/antimicro

To launch it, search for antimicro in the dash.

There's even a bunch of pre-configured profile for various games: https://github.com/Ryochan7/antimicro-profiles

There's also qJoyPad available through the Ubnutu repository, but I couldn't get it to work witht the 360 controller, and the interface isn't quite as nice.
