So i i have installed ubuntu on my my laptop, so far its going well, i have jsut one fault so far, my screen stops updating, the rest of the computer runs fine but the screen no longer reacts. my laptop is an asus n550l 15 inch touch screen, gesture pad, core i7 and an nividia geforce 745m graphics card. this crash only seems to happen when using gesture pad. any possible solutions would be greatly welcome. I am a first year comp sci and physics student, and this is my personal laptop, so i am not squeamish of digging into the os, again any help is most welcome

Ok, This is a Weird One topic
If you happened to notice a USB stick poking out of a brick wall in an urban space, would you be brave enough to connect your computer to it just to see what it might contain? Will it dump a bunch of malicious software onto your machine, or reveal something amazing? You just never know. The Dead Drops offline peer-to-peer file sharing project has been called the nerd equivalent to glory holes, bringing the sense of anonymity provided by the internet into the real world in a way that feels conspicuously sketchy.

[ubuntu] I can't create a /home partition - Weird Error topic
Hello,
I'm a user between Beginner and Advanced and I'm pretty much good with various distros but lately I have upgraded my Hard Drive to 4TB and today when I tried to install Ubuntu it somehow didn't work. I dunno why . I have created 25GB '/' (root) partition then when I tried to use the rest of my 4TB unallocated space I simply couldn't because I got that error:

Tho I have created a 1TB partition and even tho I got error, I clicked on OK and it created the partition but I want to use the whole unalocated space which is around 4TB ?
Any help on this one please ?
Thank You.
