Bridged OpenVPN Connection-how to create secure vpn connection with Ubuntu 14 topic

Looking at my syslogs on the client and server, it appears they are connecting on openvpn -restart. But I am unable to figure out how to make a secure VPN Connection. I am trying to use the Connection Manager, but it times out. I am not even sure you can connect that way, but that is what I have tried (VPN Connections -> Configure VPN).

My server log looks like:

[ubuntu] I can't create a /home partition - Weird Error topic

Hello,

I'm a user between Beginner and Advanced and I'm pretty much good with various distros but lately I have upgraded my Hard Drive to 4TB and today when I tried to install Ubuntu it somehow didn't work. I dunno why :mad:. I have created 25GB '/' (root) partition then when I tried to use the rest of my 4TB unallocated space I simply couldn't because I got that error:

Tho I have created a 1TB partition and even tho I got error, I clicked on OK and it created the partition but I want to use the whole unalocated space which is around 4TB ?

Any help on this one please ?

Thank You.

[ubuntu] How does one create a script and run it? topic

If I could turn the following commands into a script that I can point at a directory of photos and run it would simplify my life a lot. The problem is I have no idea how writing a script is done and I could use some help. Thanks in advance

Code:

find . -name '*.NEF' | gawk 'BEGIN{ a=1 }{ printf "mv \"%s\" SubjectName_%04d.NEF\n", , a++ }' | bash
mkdir jpgs
mogrify -path Fullpath2/jpgs -format jpg *.NEF
cd Fullpath2/jpgs
mogrify -resize 2048x2048 *.jpg
mogrify *.jpg -gravity center -draw "image over 0,0 0,0 'Fullpath2/Watermark.tif'" *.jpg

(obviously SubjectName and Fullpath2 need to be replaced as needed.)
