[xubuntu] Will lightscribe still work in XUbuntu 14.04.1?? topic

I'm trying to get my lightscribe cdburner to burn a cd cover in XUbuntu 14.04.1 64 bit version. I see Ubuntu got it working a couple years ago but now there's are some dead download links here:
