Hi ,
I've recently installed Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS on a HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8.
I used an SSD in place of the optical drive - as Im planning to fill the rest of the server with SATA discs.
Everything works correctly, until I start adding SATA discs into the box. The server will attempt to boot from these discs once they are inserted and not the SSD installed in the optical drive bay. There are no BIOS options to change boot order to how I want unfortunately.
Reading through some forums it seems I may have to use a micro SD card to start the initial boot - and then get it to load ubuntu from the SSD.
Please could someone assist me setting up a micro sd card to do this?
Sorry , I have tried to find instructions using the forum but didn't find anything.
Thanks in advance.
