[ubuntu] accidentally removed my Internet connection topic

Now i dont have a connection anymore.
It says

The system network service is not compatible with this version

---

I wanted to reinstall the removed packages with a live-stick, but it didnt work.
Any ideas how i can fix this problem ?

Ubuntu: 14.10 64bit

[kubuntu] Suspend option removed. topic

In the Leave option in KDE App launcher, the suspend option is not present. It is not even in any other place ( options in closing the lid ).
I'm able to do the suspend action via terminal ( sudo pm-suspend).
But how to enable it so that it shows in the option menu also.
